What to Expect

At TMS Center Centennial our experienced doctors will conduct a thorough evaluation to determine if TMS is a suitable treatment option for you. If TMS is deemed appropriate, you will begin a personalized treatment plan, which generally consists of the following:

  • Treatment Schedule: TMS sessions typically last 20-30 minutes and are administered five days a week for four to six weeks. The exact duration and frequency of sessions may vary based on individual needs and the condition being treated.
  • Preparing for Treatment: Prior to your first TMS session, our doctors will provide you with detailed instructions on how to prepare for treatment, including any necessary medication adjustments. Once you arrive at the center a Certified TMS Technician and your assigned Physiatrist will do a mapping to find out the perfect placement for the TMS helmet. You will be given a personal cap you will use throughout your treatments.
  • During Treatment: During each TMS session, you will be seated comfortably in a chair while the electromagnetic coil (TMS helmet) is placed on your scalp. You will feel a tapping sensation on your head and hear clicking noises as the magnetic pulses are delivered. Most patients find the treatment to be painless and tolerable. You will be able to intact with media; tv and cell phone for texting and gaming.
  • Post-Treatment: After a TMS session, you can immediately resume your normal activities. There are typically no significant side effects, and any mild discomfort usually resolves shortly after treatment.

Scheduling Flexibility:

At TMS Center Centennial we understand you have a busy life and many people work. This is why we offer flexible scheduling Monday thru Saturday starting as early as 7:00 AM. TMS Center typically closes at 6:00 PM. This said, we will work with you if you need a later evening time slot.

Comfortable Environment:

Our clinic provides a warm, natural lit environment with one-on-one patient attention while providing a unique Deep TMS™ experience with various patient support features like onscreen viewing and emotions support dogs. You won’t experience a clinical feel, however a very professional space that is very comfortable.

We also provide a ThetaBurst protocol that our clinical studies show improved results with the treatments of depression and anxiety at no additional cost.

Rates for TMS

Insurance:

Most insurance plans cover Deep TMS™, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation for depression disorders. TMS Center Centennial will manage all the initial paperwork, approvals and benefits for you. You need not worry about dealing with your insurance company in most situations. Rates do vary by insurance company. Copays depend on your insurance company, your individual plan and maximum annual deductible. TMS Center Centennial will provide a benefits analysis for you personally prior to treatment.

Forms of Payment:

We accept cash, check and all major credit cards as forms of payment.

Cancellation Policy:

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
