What Is TMS Therapy? Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation

TMS therapy is a non-invasive outpatient treatment that uses carefully targeted magnetic pulses to stimulate brain networks involved in mood and mental health. At TMS Center Centennial, patients receive individualized evaluation and support from a multidisciplinary clinical team. Learn how traditional TMS, Deep TMS, and accelerated options may fit into a broader plan for depression, OCD, PTSD, or anxiety.

Our TMS Therapy Services

Explore targeted, non-invasive TMS options tailored to different mental health needs and treatment schedules.

BrainsWay Deep TMS

FDA-cleared Deep TMS uses patented H-Coil technology to stimulate broader, deeper brain regions without surgery, anesthesia, or a required medication change.

Depression Treatment

Personalized Deep TMS protocols support adults with major depression, especially when antidepressants or psychotherapy have not provided sufficient symptom relief.

OCD Treatment

Deep TMS for OCD targets neural circuits associated with obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors, with office appointments typically lasting about 30 minutes.

PTSD Support

Focused magnetic stimulation may be incorporated into a comprehensive care plan to support emotional regulation and trauma-related symptom management.

Theta Burst Therapy

Theta Burst Stimulation delivers brief magnetic pulse bursts and can offer appropriate patients a significantly shorter treatment session than traditional TMS.

Accelerated Deep TMS

Swift Deep TMS provides multiple sessions over a shorter timeline for eligible patients seeking a more concentrated treatment schedule.

Non-Invasive Treatment

A Targeted Approach to Mental Health

TMS is performed while you are awake and seated comfortably in an outpatient setting. A treatment coil delivers magnetic pulses to carefully selected brain areas; no surgery, anesthesia, or recovery period is required. Plans are personalized after a clinical evaluation, and many patients continue stable prescribed medications during the protocol under their prescribing clinician’s guidance. TMS Center Centennial also coordinates care with psychiatric and counseling support.

Dr. Dasler is passionate about treating depression and ADHD, utilizing medication together with skill-building in their sessions to help patients maximize their potential. Frequently Asked Questions

How do I qualify for TMS therapy?

Qualification begins with a comprehensive clinical evaluation of your diagnosis, symptoms, treatment history, medications, and overall health. For depression, insurers commonly look for inadequate response to two or more antidepressant trials, and a psychotherapy history may be requested. A qualified clinician determines whether TMS is clinically appropriate, reviews potential contraindications, and develops a protocol based on your individual needs and coverage.
